10. Amendment of section 32 In section 32 of the Income-tax Act, in sub-section (1), with effect from the 1st day of April, 1984, - (a) in clause (ii), in the first proviso, for the words seven hundred and fifty rupees the words five thousand rupees shall be substituted; (b) in clause (iv), the weeds, brackets and figures but any such sum shall not be deductible in determining the written down value for the purposes of clause (ii) of sub-section (1); shall be omitted; (c) in clause (v), the words, brackets and figures but any such sum shall not be deductible in determining the written down value for the purposes of clause (ii); shall be omitted.
