Section 47 - Protection of action taken in good faith - Finance Act, 1989

47. Protection of action taken in good faith. No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Central Government and no suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against any officer of the Central Government or the State Government or the International Airports Authority of India or the National Airports Authority referred to in sub-section (2) of section 42 for anything in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Chapter or the rules made thereunder.
