12. Amendment of section 35 In section 35 of the Income-tax Act, in sub-section (2AA), for the provisos, the following proviso shall be substituted with effect from the 1st day of October, 1996, namely :- Provided that the prescribed authority shall, before granting approval, satisfy itself about the feasibility of carrying out the scientific research and shall submit its report to the Director General in such form as may be prescribed. .
