Section 29 - Amendment of section 80-G - Finance (No. 2) Act, 1998

29. Amendment of section 80-G In section 80G of the Income-tax Act, with effect from the 1st day of April, 1999, namely:- (a) in sub-section (1), in clause (i) after the word, brackets, figures and letters sub-clause (iiihf) , the words, brackets, figures and letters or sub-clause (iiihg) or sub-clause (iiihh) shall be inserted; (b) in sub-section (2) in clause (a) after sub-clause (iiihf), the following sub-clauses shall be inserted, namely:- (iiihg) the National Sports Fund to be set up by the Central Government; or (iiihh) the National Cultural Fund set up by the Central Government; or ; (c) In sub-section (5) in clause (1), the words, brackets, figures and letter or clause (22) or clause (22A) shall be omitted.
