74. Amendment of section 201 In section 201 of the Income-tax Act,- (a) in sub-section (1), after the words does not deduct , the words the whole or any part of the tax shall be inserted and shall be deemed to have been inserted with effect from the 1st day of April, 1962 ; (b) in sub-section (1A),- (i) after the words does not deduct , the words the whole or any part of the tax shall be inserted and shall be deemed to have been inserted with effect from the 1st day of April, 1962 ; (ii) for the words eighteen per cent. , the words fifteen per cent. shall be substituted with effect from the 1st day of June, 2001.
