6. Repeal and saving. (1) The Income-tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 1972 (7 of 1972), is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the principal Act as amended by the said Ordinance or under section 5 or section 6 of the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the principal Act as amended by this Act or under section 4 or section 5 of this Act, as the case may be, as if this Act had come into force on the 5th day of July, 1972.
