Article 30 - Termination - QatarExtract ARTICLE 30 TERMINATION This Agreement shall remain in force until terminated by a Contracting State. Either Contracting State may terminate the Agreement, through diplomatic channels, by giving notice of termination at least six months before the end of any calendar year after the expiration of five years from the date of entry into force of the Agreement. In such event, the Agreement shall cease to have effect in India and the State of Qatar, in respect of income arising on or after the first day of the fiscal year next following the calendar year in which the notice of termination is given. In witness whereof the undersigned, being duly authorised thereto, have signed this Agreement. Signed in two originals at New Delhi, this seventh day of April, 1999 in Arabic, Hindi and English languages, all three texts being equally authentic. In case of divergence between the texts, the English text shall be the operative one.
