Bank Term Deposit Scheme, 2006 Notification No. SO 1220(E), dated 28-7-2006 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (xxi) of sub-section (2) of section 80C of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby makes the following scheme, namely:— Short title and commencement. 1. (1) This scheme may be called the Bank Term Deposit Scheme, 2006. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
