Part VIII ARREST AND DETENTION Prison in which defaulter may be detained. 53. A person against whom an order of detention has been passed under Part V of the Second Schedule may be detained in the civil prison of the district in which the office of the Tax Recovery Officer ordering the detention is situate, or, where such civil prison does not afford suitable accommodation, in any other place which the State Government may appoint for the detention of persons ordered by the civil courts of such district to be detained.
