Issue of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds and Ordinary Shares (Through Depositary Receipt Mechanism) Scheme, 1993 G.S.R. 700(e), dated 12-11-1993 Central Government hereby notifies the following Scheme, for facilitating Issue of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds and Ordinary Shares Through Global Depositary Mechanism by Indian Companies, namely :— Short title and commencement. 1. (1) This Scheme may be called the Issue of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds and Ordinary Shares (Through Depositary Receipt Mechanism) Scheme, 1993. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the first day of April, 1992.
