ARTICLE 31 DURATION AND TERMINATION This Agreement shall remain in force for a period of five years and shall continue in force thereafter for a similar period or periods unless either Contracting State notifies the other in writing, six months before the expiry of the initial or any subsequent period, of its intention to terminate this Agreement. In such event, this Agreement shall cease to have effect in both Contracting States in respect of income derived in any fiscal year on or after the first day of April next following the calendar year in which the notice is given. IN WITNESS WHEREOF the respective, plenipotentiaries of both Contracting States have signed this Agreement. DONE at New Delhi on 15th day of June, 2006, corresponding to 19th Jamad al awal, 1427 H, two originals, each in the Hindi, Arabic and English languages, all texts being equally authentic. In case of divergence of interpretation, the English text shall prevail.
