Summary

The Supreme Court transferred writ petitions challenging the constitutional validity of Section 171 of CGST Act, 2017 to the Delhi High Court. The National Anti-Profiteering Authority filed a Transfer Petition for this purpose. Around 40 similar writ petitions are being heard by the Delhi High Court. The Court's order dated 19.02.2020 transferred similar writ petitions from other High Courts to Delhi High Court as well.
