2023 (7) TMI 1466 - SCH - Money LaunderingRejection of application filed u/s 190 read with Section 245(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 - it was held by High Court that the criminal proceedings initiated against the petitioners / accused Nos. 1 and 2 by the respondent under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2002 in Spl.C.C. No. 159/2015 are closed. HELD THAT - At this stage no interference is called for. SLP disposed off.
The Supreme Court of India disposed of a Special Leave Petition, condoning delay and stating no interference is needed. The petitioner can revive proceedings under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act if the order of acquittal is overturned.
