INSTRUCTION NO. 627/CBDT Dated : Febuary 20, 1974 Attention is invited to Board's Instruction No.723, dated the 23rd July, 1974 (F.No.305/16/74-E.D.) on the subject mentioned above. 2. A clarification regarding "Advance Payments" as a minor head under "033-Gift-Tax" has since been received from the Department of Economic Affairs. They have agreed that "Advance Payments" be taken as a new minor Head immediately before the existing minor head 'Ordinary Collections' under "033-Gift-Tax" Major/sub-major Heads. 3. Immediate action may please be taken to indicate the Heads of Accounts after taking the above modification into account in the enclosed list to Board's said Instructions and the Challans to be issued to the public be modified accordingly. 4. The receipt of this instruction may please be acknowledged.
