INSTRUCTION NO. 674/CBDT Dated : March 27, 1974 Section(s) Referred: 77 of FERA Statute: In pursuance of clause (e) of section 77 of the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1973 (46 of 1973), the Central Government has since issued a notification number 1/72/EC/73-15 dated 1-1-1974 specifying all Income-tax Officers and Inspectors of Income-tax to assist the Officers of Enforcement Directorate, in the enforcement of this Act. It is, therefore, necessary that all Income-tax Officers and Inspectors of Income-tax should render necessary assistance as and when any requisition is made by any officer of Enforcement Directorate for this purpose. This may please be brought to the notice of all Income-tax Officers and Inspectors working in each charge.
