V], DATED 15-4-1996, ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPANY AFFAIRS, MINISTRY OF LAW, JUSTICE AND COMPANY AFFAIRS Subject:- Filing of Form No. 17 in compliance with section 138 of the Companies Act, 1956 - Simplification of procedure I am directed to state that in order to simplify the procedure of filing of Form No. 17 and its registration, it has been decided that the said Form may be filed with the Registrar of Companies after obtaining the signatures of the lender company and the Banks/Financial Institutions. This Form be filed in triplicate with Registrar who will return two copies of the Form after endorsing the fact that the same has been registered. It may also be noted that the said Form No. 17 is required to be filed within a period of thirty days of the date of satisfaction of charge.
