NO.7 (440) Policy.I/VAT/2012/205-210 Dated 15-06-2012 ORDER Subject: Change in tax period as per rule 26 of DVAT Rules, 2005 Whereas clause (d) of sub rule (1) of rule 26 of DVAT Rules, 2005 stipulates that the tax period for a dealer whose turnover in the preceding year exceeds five crore rupees shall be one month. And whereas, the turnover of the dealers mentioned in the Annexure exceeded Rupees five crore during 2011-12 but their tax period during 2011-12 was a quarter or six months or one year . Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers vested in me by virtue of rule 26 of DVAT Rules, 2005 , I, Rajendra Kumar, Commissioner VAT, hereby order that the tax period in respect of the dealers mentioned in the Annexure shall be one month with effect from the first day of April, 2012.
