Amendments in paras 5.7.2 5.7.5 of Handbook of Procedures, Vol.I related to EPCG Scheme PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 11/2006 Dated 24/05/2006 In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures, Vol. I : 1. In Paragraph 5.7.2, words "paragraph 5.7.3" may be amended to read as "Paragraph 5.4(iv) of the Foreign Trade Policy". 2. Paragraph 5.7.5 is amended to read as under: "Where the manufacturer exporter has obtained authorisations for manufacture of the same export product both under EPCG or any of the Duty Exemption and Remission Schemes as given in Chapter 4 of the Foreign Trade Policy and physical exports or deemed exports for categories mentioned in paragraph 5.4(iv) of Foreign Trade Policy, made under these schemes shall also be counted towards the discharge of export obligation under EPCG Scheme."
