Import of 5 lakh MTs of wheat at zero duty ( Public Notice No. 87(RE-2005)/2004-09 dated 9.2.2006) PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 42/2006 Dated 03/08/2006 In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby notifies as follows: 1. The import will be made by 28.2.2007 instead of 31.8.2006. 2. The Public Notice No. 87(RE-2005)/2004-09 dated 9.2.2006 shall also be applicable in cases where State Trading Corporation(STC) transfers the title of imported wheat to Food Corporation of India(FCI) on high sea sale basis.
