Status of applications on mobile TRADE NOTICE NO. 08/2003 Dated 04/12/2003 As members of Trade are already aware that they can know the status of their applications through Website of this office by accessing website www.dgftmumbai.nic.in. Now the Trade can also know the status of their applications through SMS service provided by Hutchison Max Telecom Private Ltd. (TM Orange) Efforts are being made to make such service available through other Cellular Service Providers also. To avail this facility user may follow the instructions given below: - Step 1: Enter the message as "DGFT type first three characters of the name of the party Key Number " (e.g. for knowing the status of application of Reliance Industries with Key Number:1010187, the Message shall be DGFT REL 1010187 ) Step 2: SMS on "123" With typing of "123" the user will instantly get the status of their application including other relevant details. This office continuously endeavors to provide expeditious information keeping in mind the need to reduce the transaction cost and time of the trade. Further suggestions/feed back from members of the trade and industry will be of immense value for this office to provide additional services in future.
