Compulsory pre - scrutiny system for on-line applications TRADE NOTICE NO. 05 Dated 18.07.2001 It is observed that the trend of deficiencies in the on-line applications which are submitted without Pre - scrutiny is high. The entire procedure is time consuming and does not serve the very purpose of on - line applications. Hence, in order to avoid deficiencies at a later stage and to cut short the procedure for issuance of licences it has been decided to commence compulsory pre - scrutiny system for on-line applications also. Exporters are requested to submit the hard copy of documents to the concerned pre-scrutiny counter.
