Trade No.9 dated 28/3/2001 Trade Notice No. 2. Dated 20/4/2001. Attention of trade is invited to this office Trade No.9 dated 28/3/2001 wherein it has been prescribed that for DEPB exports made through ICDs an additional document of Transference Copy of Shipping Bill should also be submitted. Some exporters agitated that calling for additional documents may delay the grant of benefit under DEPB. After examining the matter in detail, it has been decided to withdrawn para-2 of Trade Notice No.9 dated 28/3/2001. However, it is informed that particulars related to shipment details are required to be filled as usual by Preventive Officer of ICD in page two of EP copy of Shipping Bill. These details are in respect of Mate Receipt No, date of Mate Receipt, Issuing Authority, shipment sailing details, Port of exports etc. These details are mandatory for all the Shipping Bills filed under DEPB/DFRC/Advance Licence schemes.
