Amendments in Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I), RE2003 to endorsing the name of supporting manufacturer on the certificate as co-licensees TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART-I, SECTION-1) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE NEW DELHI PUBLIC NOTICE No. 122 (RE-2007)/2004-09, Dated: 4 th March 2008 In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy 2002-2007 (RE2003), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I), RE2003: In Para 3.2.5 III, the following subparagraph is added at the end. "Further in order to enable supporting manufacturers, whose names appear in the shipping bills, to import directly, Licensing Authority concerned shall endorse the names of such supporting manufacturers on the certificate as co-licensees." Consequently listed supporting manufacturers shall be 'co-licensees' for DFCE for Status Holders Scheme 2003-04 issued under Para 3.7.2.1 (vi) of the Export and Import Policy (RE2003) and duty credit scrips which have been already issued under the scheme shall be deemed to be amended to this extent.
