Additions/amendments in the Schedule of DEPB rates. - DGFT - 140(RE-2007) /2004-2009

PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 140(RE-2007) /2004-2009 NEW DELHI, DATED THE 7 th APRIL, 2008. In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following additions/amendments in the Schedule of DEPB Rates (as amended from time to time) with immediate effect: 1. New DEPB rates for the following products shall be added after Sl. No. 607 of Product Group " Engineering Products" (Product Code: 61):- DEPB Sl. No. Description DEPB Rate Value Cap 608 I.C. Engines of 3 HP upto and including 720 HP 4% -- 609 Gensets from 3 KVA upto and including 20 KVA 4% -- 610 Gensets above 20 KVA upto and including 600 KVA 5% -- 611 Pumpsets from 3 HP upto and including 28 HP 4% -- 2. New DEPB rates for the following products shall be added after Sl No. 1026 of the Product Group "Chemicals" (Product Code: 62) DEPB Sl. No. Description DEPB Rate Value Cap 1027 Captopril USP (Powder) 4% -- 1028 Het Diol(1,4,5,6,7,7 Hexa Chloro-2-3 Bis (Hydroxy Methyl) Bicyclo-2(2,1,1)-heptane-5. 3% -- 3. Value cap for the product "Cobalt Sulphate" appearing at S.No.948 of the Product Group "Chemicals" (Product code: 62) of DEPB rate Schedule stands revised to Rs 550/- per kg. from the existing value cap of Rs 350/- per kg.
