Attention of the Trade is invited to the endeavour of the Government to work towards the greater simplification, standardization and harmonization of trade documents using International best practices. Towards this goal, Directorate General of Foreign Trade has set a target of moving towards an automated environment for electronic filing, retrieval and authentication of documents based on agreed protocols and message exchange with other community partners including Customs and Bank. In order to promote the use of Information Technology, DGFT provides fiscal incentives to the user community; i.e. Deduction in application fee would be admissible for applications signed digitally or/ nd where application fee is paid electronically through EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) as follows:- Sl. No. MODE OF APPLICATION FEE DEDUCTION( AS A % NORMAL APPLICATION FEE 1. Digitally signed 25% 2. Application fee payment vide EFT 25% 3.
