Amendment in General notes of ITC Import tariff PUBLIC NOTICE NO 96 (RE :2008 )/2004-2009 Dated: October 22, 2008 In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004-2009, as amended. 2. In the existing General Notes for Textiles at Sl.No.6 the following sentence is added at the end:- "Further, wherever import of Acrylic Tow has been allowed, acrylic fibre may also be allowed as an alternate input with the same quantity (i.e. quantity as indicated for Acrylic Tow)."
