F.No.EDI-1/97 CC ACC DATED : 20.10.97 CORRIGENDUM NO. 1 TO PUBLIC NOTICE NO : 17/97 Following amendment/correction in the Public Notice No 17/97 have been made with immediate effect. 1. Following new Para after Para 5(Which will be now numbered as Para 5.1) is being inserted:- The goods should be brought for the purpose of examination and Let Export within seven days of filing of declaration in the export Service Centre. In case of delay a fresh declarations would need to be filed in the Export Service Centre. 2. Following lines of Para 15.1 Where however the consignment is proposed to be sent by a different airlines (than the one which has been specified in the Shipping Bill allowed let export) by issue of a new airway bill, the old Shipping Bill would have to be cancelled and the process of filing the Shipping Bill started afresh. will now be read as follows:- where however the consignment is proposed to be sent by a different airline(than the one which has been specified in the Shipping Bill allowed let export) by issue of a new airway bill, the Let Export Order would have been to be cancelled and necessary amendment in freight shall be done in Shipping Bill with the permission of Asstt. Commissioner of Customs (Export). 3. Para 15.2 is being replaced by following Para. In cases where the export consignment is on CIF or C F basis, the airline concerned shall not amend freight charges after the Let Export order has been given by the Customs without permission of authorised officer of customs and necessary amendment of freight charges in shipping bill. The authorised officer shall prepare a daily list of those amendments in freight where freight has been upwardly revised and send the same to A.C.(DBK) for necessary action . 4. In Para 18.6, line 17 the words page no.4 may be read as page no. 3 . 5. In sub para, 18.8 (E), at page 13 of the public notice 49.03 to 49.10 may be read as 49.03, 49.10 . 6. In Para 18.10 the word Annex B may be read as Annex. A . 7. In Appendix IV the S.S. Nos. 19.03 21.02 in line 4 have been repeated. This repetition is being deleted. Further S.S.
