Export by merchant-exporters — Appointment of Deputy/Assistant Commissioner (Exports) - Central Excise - Trade Notice No. 2/2014

Commissioner of Central Excise, Pune-IV Trade Notice No. 2/2014 dated 28-11-2014 In terms of C.B.E. C. Circular No. 500/66/99-CX issued under F. No. 2009/24/99-CX.6, dated 15-12-1999 on the above subject, the Commissioner of Central Excise (excluding those under whose jurisdiction the office of Maritime Commissioner already exists) designates one Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of central excise as Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of Central Excise (Exports) who will discharge a similar function as being discharged by the existing Maritime Commissioners, for exports under Rule 19 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002 . Consequent upon restructuring of Commissionerates as notified vide Notification No. 27/2014-Central Excise (N.T.), dated 16-9-2014 read with Trade Notice No. 1/2014, dated 10-10-2014 issued by the Chief Commissioner, Central Excise Service Tax, Pune Zone, Pune and in terms of Board s Circular No. 500/66/99-CX., dated 15-12-1999 , the Assistant/Deputy Commissioner, Central Excise (Technical), Pune-IV Commissionerate having office at 1st Floor, ICE House, 41A, Sassoon Road, Pune 411001, is hereby designated as the Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of Central Excise (Exports), for exports by Merchant Exporters falling within the jurisdiction of Pune-IV Commissionerate as per Rule 19 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002 . All the Members of Public/Trade Associations/Chambers of Commerce and Industries and the Members of the RAC/PGC are requested to bring the contents of this Trade Notice to their member constituents.
