Public Notice No. 53/2008 Dated 16/05/2008 In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 , the premises of M/s Sun Global Logistics Ltd., situated at Kattarambakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluka, Tamil Nadu, morefully described below, is declared as CUSTOMS AREA for the purpose of examination and clearance of cargo imported in F.C.L. , containers which were allowed to be moved from Chennai Port Trust to the C.F.S. (M/s. Sun Global Logistics Ltd., Kattarambakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluka, Tamil Nadu) (other than LCL cargo and passengers unaccompanied baggage) and examination, stuffing/loading of export cargo into containers under Customs supervision and sealing of the same by Customs with Customs Seals. Description of Area and Location : M/s. Sun Global Logistics Ltd., Kattarambakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluka, Tamil Nadu situated in an area of 12.37 acres, with 2 warehouses of 13000 sq. ft. and 27000 sq. ft. each (Survey No. 742 as claimed by the CFS management and certified by the Deputy Tahsildar, Sriperumbudur Taluka) Boundaries : - North : Reserve Forest Survey No. 743 South : Survey No. 733 739 East : Reserve Forest West : Survey No. 732 SIPCOT, Irungattukottai Procedures to be followed : The procedures for dealing with import of FCL cargo (other than LCL cargo and passengers unaccompanied baggage goods) and Export cargo, are to be followed as laid down in P.N. 19/98, 111/2002 and 255/2002 issued by this Customs House This Public Notice shall come into effect from 1-6-2008
