ICD at Falta SEZ notified Customs area - Customs - 42/2008

Public Notice No. 42/2008 Dated 21/08/2008 In exercise of the power conferred under Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 , I, D.C. Dwivedi, Commissioner of Customs (Airport Administration), Kolkata, do hereby notify the entire area as described in the Schedule below as Inland Container Depot (ICD) of M/s. Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) located inside Falta Special Economic Zone as Customs Area for the purposes of : (i) Receiving/storing import containers, destuffing, Examination and clearance of import containerized cargo; (ii) Receiving / consolidating Export cargo, Examination thereof stuffing/destuffing, LCL/FCL containers with Export cargo and sealing thereof and dispatching the sealed containers to different ports /LCS in India for Export, and (iii) Storage of empty containers in respect of Bills of entry and shipping bills; (iv) Only those bills of entry and shipping bills which are to be processed manually till EDI connectivity with the ICD is established. The Schedule The ICD at Falta Special Economic Zone (FSEZ), situated inside FSEZ at Falta, measuring 12004.25 Sqr. Mtrs. With the following boundaries : - North Office of the W.B.S.E.B. South Road from Gate No. 2 of FSEZ East Road from Gate No. 1 of FSEZ. West Road started from 1 st Rotary Island. This notification will be effective from 19-8-2008
