Custodian of imported and exported at CFS at Kattrambakkam village, Sriperumbudur Taluka in Tamil Nadu - Customs - 52/2008

Public Notice No. 52/2008 Dated 16/05/2008 In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 45(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, Raj Kumar Barthwal, Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Chennai-I, hereby appoint M/s. Sun Global Logistics Ltd., Kattrambakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluka, Tamil Nadu as the CUSTODIAN of imported goods landed at Chennai Sea Port and received in their CFS at Kattrambakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluka, Tamil Nadu in containers, until the goods are cleared for Home Consumption or warehoused are transhipped in accordance with the provisions of Chapter VII of the Act , ibid. Similarly, M/s Sun Global Logistics Ltd. will also be the CUSTODIAN of cargo brought into their premises for export till they are exported. 2. M/s Sun Global Logistics Ltd., Kattrambakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluka, Tamil Nadu as the Custodian of the goods meant for export and import, would be required to comply with the provisions of Section 45(2) of the Customs Act, 1962 , as well as rules and regulations and instructions issued from time to time on the subject mentioned above. 3. This Public Notice shall come into effect from 1-6-2008
