Implementation of Document Management System at Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai-reg - Customs - 09/2016

OFFICE OF THE COMMISSISSIONER OF CUSTOMS (GEN) AIR CARGO COMPLEX, SAHAR, MUMBAI:- 400 099 F.No. S/43-CHS-01/2015-16 ACC Date :- 16-06-2016 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 09/2016 Sub:- Implementation of Document Management System at Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai-reg. Document Management System (DMS) was implemented w.e.f. 22.06.2015 and all the Members of the Exim Community, Customs Brokers, Steamer Agents, Consolidators and all other Stake holders were informed vide Public Notice No. 06/2015 dated 12.06.2015. The said facility was started after due consultation and consent obtained from the Trade during the meeting of Permanent Trade Facilitation Committee, and a contract was signed between Commissioner of Customs (Gen), ACC (herein after referred to as 'Vendee') and M/S Newgen Software Technology Ltd, Mumbai (herein after referred to as 'Vendor'). Further, vide the said Public Notice No. 06/2015 dated 12.06.2015 (at para 03) it was informed that the rate for the DMS has been Rupees Sixteen only (Rs. 16/-) per docket - (i.e coupon price) 2.1 As per the term of the contract between the 'Vendee' ' Vendor' -Provision for Cost Escalation:- The Vendee agrees to increase the rates offered by the vendor by minimum 5% on yearly basis; to factor-in-the inflation rates. The rate increase would be effective after completion of 1 year from commencement of project'. In case the vendor demands the increase beyond 5% prior consent from the vendee will be required. The increase will be calculated on the base cost -without taxes'. 2.2 Accordingly, as per the agreed term of the contract, all the concerned (i.e Exim Community, Customs Brokers, Steamer Agents, Consolidators and all other Stake Holders ) are hereby intimated that the coupon price will be increased by 5% in order to factor-in-the inflation rates, and the revised rate will be ₹ 16.80 paise per docket effective from 22.06.2016. 3.
