Attention of all Exporters, Custom House Agents and members of the trade is invited to Board Circular No. 23/2013 -Cus. dated 24.06.2013 on Risk Management System (RMS) along with PN 29/2015 dtd. 30.07.2015 issued by Airport Commissionerate on the detailed procedure for clearance of Shipping Bills under ICES after the introduction of RMS is given below. After introduction of RMS, instances have been noticed that in some cases exporters had filed Shipping Bills by declaring wrong classification for avoiding submission of required necessary documents or for proper duty assessment. In all such cases where any discrepancies will be noticed by any of the officer concerned, he may bring it to the notice of System Administrator/JC/ADC or DC/AC of SIB immediately for suitable action. In cases where CHA/Exporter themselves, observe any discrepancies, after filing the shipping bills, they may request directly to the export DC/AC, who may recall the subject Shipping Bills for assessment and/or examination and thereafter intimate such cases to JC/ADC on daily basis through DC (SIB) in writing for record purpose. For gaining the maximum benefit of facilitation under RMS, it is necessary that the trade should give correct and true declaration of all details of the exported goods at the time of filing of Shipping Bills.
