To streamline the process of refund of pre-deposit in line with Board Circular No. 984/08/2014-CX dated 16.09.2014 and 993/17/2014-CX dated 05.01.2015 issued from F.No.390/Budget/01/2012-JC, the following procedure is prescribed: 1. The claimant should file the claim of refund of pre-deposit with the concerned group AC/DC along with the original/attested copy of the appellate authority order and proof of payment of pre-deposit. 2. On receipt of the refund order, the claimant should approach DC/Drawback alongwith the Bank attested mandate form for issuance of cheque. Drawback Section would keep proper separate records of Refunds cheques issued. Any difficulty faced- by the trade/CHA/importer or the General Public at large in -the implementation of this public notice, may be brought to the notice of the undersigned.
