ADDENDUM TO PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 05/2015 DATED 10.02.2015 - Customs - 05/2015

TT Aviation Handling Services Pvt. Ltd; 6, Cathedral Road, Chennai - 600 086 have requested for appointment as a Customs Cargo Service Provider/Custodian for the purpose of transshipment of import goods/cargo meant for transshipment by road through Customs Bonded Trucking (CBT) from Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai to Air Cargo Complexes (ACC) of Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Coimbatore and Cochin, in respect of the two Airlines handled by M/S. Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (MIAPL) approved vide Public Notice No.05/2015 dated 10.02.2015. Later vide addendum to Public Notice No.05/2015 dated 02.09.2015 another 07 Airlines handled by M/S. Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (MIAPL) were granted permission for unloading at the Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai. Now, M/S. IT Aviation Handling Services Pvt. Ltd; has executed a Bond of ₹ 7.40 Crores (Rupees Seven Crores forty lakhs only) valid upto 12.01.2019 and also submitted extended Bank Guarantee towards security against the said Bond to the tune of ₹ 1.11 Crores (Rupees One Crore eleven lakhs only) executed by City Union Bank Ltd. on behalf of M/s.TT Aviation Handling Services Pvt. Ltd. valid till 13.01.2017. 3. Accordingly, in exercise of the powers vested in me under the section 45(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, l, Jai Prakash Singh, Commissioner of Customs (General), Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai hereby approve and appoint M/S. TT Aviation Handling Services Pvt. Ltd. as Customs Cargo Service Provider/Custodian for the purpose of transshipment of import goods/cargo meant for transshipment by road through Customs Bonded Trucking (CBT) from ACC, Mumbai to ACCS of Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Chennai, Goa , Cochin and all other ICDs within India , in cases where such transshipment is desired by the Consignee/Airlines and approved by the Customs department. This approval will be applicable to the following Airlines whose cargo is handled by M/s.Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (MIAL) for unloading at the Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai. The transshipment of the import cargo, permitted as per this Public Notice will be governed by : (a) The provisions of Chapter VIII of the Customs Act, 1962. (b) Goods Imported (Conditions of Transshipment) Regulations, 1995. (c) Handling of cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009 (as amended). (d) Boards Circular No.69/99-Cus dtd.06.10.1999 as amended by Boards Circular No.61/2000-Cus dtd.13.07.2000, 79/2001-cus dtd.07.12.2001 and 06/2007-cus dtd.22.01.2007 (e) Public Notice No.24/2000 dtd.08.11.2000 read with Public Notice No.12/2004 dtd.27.03.2004, Public Notice No.18/2005 dtd.28.07.2005 Public Notice No.09/2007 dtd.02.03.2007, (f) Any other Rules, Regulations, Notifications, Instructions, Circulars Public Notices issued from time to time. 5.
