Verification/updation of Carrier Agencies/Shipping Lines for implementation in ICES 1.5-reg. - Customs - 06/2011

Attention of all concerned is invited to Public Notice No.39/2010 dated 29.03.2010 and Public Notice No.85/2010 dated 07.09.2010 on the subject mentioned above. Till date, the Mumbai Custom House has verified/updated 222 Carrier Agents/Shipping Lines. The details of these agencies are attached to this Public Notice for the perusal of all concerned. All the Carrier Agencies/Shipping Lines are hereby directed to go through the attached list and verify as to whether there names are appearing in the attached list. If the name of any Carrier Agency/Shipping Line who has applied, is not appearing in the said list, then the concerned Carrier Agency/Shipping Line is directed to contact EDI Section, Mumbai Custom House immediately. Similarly, if any of the Carrier Agency/Shipping Line has not applied for verification/updation, then they too are directed to apply for the same in the EDI Section, Mumbai Custom House immediately. It is once again brought to the notice of all concerned that only those Carrier Agencies/Shipping Lines who have been verified/updated by the Mumbai Custom House will be able to operate in the ICES 1.5 version.
