Attention of all the Exporters, CHA and all the concerned are invited to Public Notices No. 57/2001 dated 03.09.2001 70/2001 dated 21/11/2001, prescribing the guidelines/norms for granting permission for the Factory Stuffing of export goods. 2. In partial modification of above citied Public Notices, it has been decided to issue the permission for factory stuffing of export goods on post verification basis with immediate effect. The factory stuffing permission would be issued based on the prescribed application along with proper information and prescribed documents, without awaiting the verification report from the concerned Central Excise authorities. However, a reference seeking verification report would be forwarded to the Central Excise authorities, simultaneously. 3. In case the verification report confirm that the export firm is not existing at the given address or there is any objection raised later for reasons such as lack of proper accessibility to the said premises, inadequate infrastructure etc., the permission granted would be revoked subsequently. 4.
