Centralisation of the processing of request/applications for permission of stuffing of export containers at the factory premises/private bonded warehouses regarding - Customs - 19/2007

Attention of all Importers, Exporters, CHAs and Members of Trade is invited to the processing of requests/applications for permission of stuffing of export containers at the factory premises/private bonded warehouses, which was hitherto being done at various CFS/Section including the following :- i) Dronagiri CFS ii) Punjab Conware CFS iii) PSO Section, JNCH iv) E.P. Cell, JNCH 2. It has been decided that the permission for stuffing of export containers inside the factory premises or Private Bonded Warehouses, as well as permission for assembling machinery inside port premises also should be centralised in the Custom House. Accordingly, a new Cell namely, Factory Stuffing Permission Cell (i.e FSP Cell) has been created in this Custom House which will be processing all the requests/applications for stuffing of export cargo in the factory premises/pvt. Bonded warehouse/port premises and monitoring/review thereof. 3. Any difficulty faced by the trade in this regard may be brought to the notice of the department.
