Amendments in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1) (RE-2008) TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRA ORIDINARY (PART - I SECTION-I) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 155 (RE-2008)/2004-2009 NEW DELHI , DATED THE 2nd March, 2009 In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures, Vol. I (RE 2008) 1. In Appendix 37D, under Table 9, after Sl. No. 7, the following is added in the Index of Product Categories under I: Table 9 I. HIGH VALUE ADDED MANUFACTURED GOODS Note 1: Benefits on High Value Added Manufactured Goods shall be granted for exports w.e.f. 1.4.2008. Note 2: Goods, as contained in this Table, if exported as export obligation under Advance Authorisation Scheme or under Duty Free Import Authorisation Scheme, shall be eligible for this export benefit only if the value addition is at least 100%.
