Amendments in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I) RE-2008) TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART-I, SECTION-I) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE PUBLIC NOTICE No. 160(RE-2008)/2004-09 NEW DELHI, 6 MARCH, 2009 In exercise of powers conferred under Para 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 , the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1) (RE-2008): 1. Paragraph 4.22.1 Stands replaced by the following provision: For the advance authorization (erstwhile licences), where raw sugar has been imported between 21.09.04 and 15.4.08, but the export obligation is yet to be fulfilled, the export obligation period stands automatically extended upto 31.12.2009 without payment of composition fee. Against these advance Authorisations / licences, no further E. 0. extension shall be allowed beyond 31.12.2009." This issues in public interest. Sd/- (R.S.
