I Dated 19.01.2018 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 12/2018 Subject: List of Out of Scope items as received from FSSAI. -reg. Attention of the Importers, Exporters, General Trade and all other stakeholders is invited to Public Notice No 09/2018, dated 12.01.2018 issued by JNCH. 2. In this regard, a revised list of HS CODE of Non Food Items for which out of scope certification has been given in the past has been received from FSSAI [Authorized Officer] and enclosed as Annexure-A1. FSSAI has already suggested that Non Food items appearing in the list should not be referred to them for clearance henceforth. 3. In view of the above, it is being informed that except revised list of HS CODE and product description, as enclosed with this Public Notice (Annexure-A1), other content of Public Notice No 09/2018, dated 12.01.2018 remains unchanged. 4. In case of any difficulty, the specific issue may be brought to the notice of Deputy/Assistant Commissioner in charge of DC/AC Group-I, Nhava Sheva-I or Appraising main (Import), NS-III (email address: email address: [email protected] ) . 5. Action to be taken in terms of decisions taken in this Public Notice should be considered as standing order for the purpose of officers and staff.
