Attention of all Customs Brokers, Exporters, Importers, Members of the Trade and other stake holders is invited to Board's Circular No. 40/2017 - Customs dated 13.10.2017 on the implementation of the application for uploading of supporting documents electronically i.e. e-SANCHIT on pilot basis and Board's Instruction No. 02/2018- Customs dated 07.02.2018 on extension of e-SANCHIT application to all the EDI location. Also, attention is invited to this office Public Notice No. 06/2018 dated 13.02.2018 and 08/2018 dated 13.03.2018 issued by this office on the aforesaid subject. 2. The Board has decided to postpone the mandatory implementation of e-SANCHIT to April 1, 2018 All stakeholders are advised that from April 1, 2018, the system would simply disallow the filing of a bill of entry unless it is filed with IRN Nos. evidencing that supporting documents have been first uploaded using e-SANCHIT. 3.
