Attention of the Exporters, Importers, CHAs, Trade and all concerned is invited to Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue Notification No. 50/2017- Customs(NT) dated 24.052017 vide which Valmikinagar in West Champaran District, Bihar has been notified as Land Customs Station. As a part of implementation of the said notification, it is proposed that operation of Valmikinagar as Land Customs Station for clearance of Export and Import consignment will commence from 01.06.2018. All necessary arrangements in this regard have been made for trade facilitation through this LCS. The LCS Valmikinagar Will function as a Non-EDI port till EDI connectivity is provided and clearance of export / import consignments can be effected through this LCS after fulfilling the laid down formalities under the Customs Act' 1962.
