Attention of the Importers/ Exporters, Customs Brokers, Custodians, Trade and other stakeholders is invited to the Notification No. 77/2014-Customs(N.T.) and 78/2017- Customs(N.T.) both dated 16.9.14, Notification 82/2017- Customs(N.T) dated 24.8.17, Notification No. 85/201 dated 7.9.17 and Notification No. 86/2017-Customs(N.T.) dated 14.9.17 issued by the Central Board of. Excise and Customs, Department of Revenue, Ministry of' Finance on the above subject and this office Public Notices 01/2014 dated 10.10.2014, 236/2015 dated 11.12.15, 40/2016 dated 19.2.16, 5/2017 dated 30.1.17 and 20/2017 dated 10.3.17. 2. Consequent to the issue of the said notifications. the following are the reorganized Commissionerates in the Chennai Customs Zone, with effect 1.11.2017: Sl. Chennai: and (ix) Commissioner of Customs (Appeals II) Chennai. 3. Consequent to the issue of the Notification No.82/2017- Customs (N.T) dated 24.8.17. Notification No. 85/2017-Customs (N.T.) dated 7, 9.17 and Notification No. 86/2017-Customs(N.T.) dated 14.9.17, this Public Notice is issued in supersession the Public Notice 01/2014 dated 10.10.2014 and Standing Order 1 2/2014 dated 20. 10.14 specifying the jurisdiction and functions of each of the above said Commissionerates as indicated in Annexure A (Commissionerates of Customs I, II, III, IV, VII, VIII and the Audit Commissionerate having all India jurisdiction) and Annexure B (Commissionerates (Appeals - I) and (Appeals II) ). 4. For the sake of the convenience of the trade and easy recall, the above Commissionerates will be known as follows: Sl. A Helpdesk facility is provided in the Reception Area (Ground Floor) in the Main Building of the Custom House, Chennai, to provide assistance and guidance for the trade and general public in this regard.
