VI Dated 7-10-1994 Government of India Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) New Delhi Subject : Modified Gold/Silver Import Scheme - Instructions regarding. In continuation of Ministry's instructions of even number dated 6-10-1994 on the above subject, it is directed to say that to begin with, the facility of delivery of gold/silver in India from the customs bonded warehouse of the SBI/MMTC, as the case may be, will be available only to those eligible passengers who arrive in India through the international airports of Delhi, Bombay or Trivandrum. This is subject to the condition that the eligible passenger concerned shall file a declaration in the prescribed form on arrival declaring his intention to take delivery of the gold/silver in India from the bonded warehouse of the SBI/MMTC, as the case may be, and pays the duty on such gold/silver before his customs clearance. It is also clarified that such passengers will be entitled to take delivery from the warehouse of the SBI/MMTC, as the case may be, located in the same airport or located in the same city where the passenger landed and paid duty. 2. It is also clarified that the declaration cum ex-bond bill of entry should be got printed in bound booklet form and such forms should be got printed in bound booklet form and such forms should show book No. on the left top corner and the serial number on the top right corner.
