No. S/20-07/AG/GST/17-18 Dated: 04/09/2017 PUBLIC NOTICE No. 47/2017 Subject: Non- requirement of signature and stamp of LEO officer on the final Print- out of shipping Bill -Reg. Kind attention of all Importers, Members of Trade and Industry Associations, Customs Brokers and other stake holders is drawn to the practice of taking signature stamp of Let Export Order (LEO) officer on the final print - out of Shipping Bills. 2. In this regard, it is mentioned that the final print- out of the shipping Bill, which is generated through Customs EDI System after Let Export order (LEO) given is a system generated document. It bears the name and SSO-ID of the officer who has given LEO. Therefore, it does not require any signature or stamp of the officer giving Let Export order (LEO). 3. In view of above, it has been decided that henceforth, the signature stamp of the Let Export Order officer will not be required on the final print - out of the Shipping Bill. 4. This is issued with the approval of the Principal Commissioner, Customs House Kandla. 5. Difficulties, if any, in this regard may be brought to the notice of the undersigned. (U. B.
