Dated: 14-Nov-17 PUBLIC NOTICE No. 50/2017 Sub:-Permission to operate customs Bonded Trucks Facility from Visakhapatnam through Gateway Airports by M/S Shreeji Translogistics Limited, Bangalore - Reg. It is hereby brought to the notice of all transporters, CHAs and other stake holders that the Commissioner of Customs has appointed M/S Shreeji Translogistics Limited, M-23, 3rd Floor, Menzies Aviation Bobba Cargo Terminal, Kempegowda International Ariport Ltd, Devanhally, Bangalore -560 300 as Customs Cargo Service Provider/Custodian for the purpose of transshipment of export/import cargo by road through 'Bonded Trucking Operations' (BTO) from Air Cargo Complex {M/S AP Trade Promotion Corporation Ltd. (APTPC Ltd) the custodian}, Visakhapatnam to all other Customs notified Air Cargo Complexes (ACCs)/ICDs/CFS and vice versa where such transshipment is desired by the Consignee/AIrlines and approved by the Customs Department. 2. The permission is granted initially for a period of one year i.e. upto 14-Nov-18. This approval will be applicable to the following Airlines : Sl. No. Name of the Airlines 1 Emirates Sk Cargo 2. Whereas, such transshipment of Export/Import Cargo meant for transshipment by road through Customs Bonded Trucking (CBT) from Visakhapatnam to gateway ACCS shall be allowed only through Closed Body Trucks i.e. the trucks so deployed for transport should be specially secured to avoid pilferage of cargo and have provision of affixing of Customs Bottle Seals . The Custodian will submit a list of trucks together with registration numbers to be used for the purpose. 4. Transhipment of import cargo permitted as per this Public Notice will be governed by: a) The provisions of Chapter VIII of the Customs Act, 1962. b) Goods Imported (Conditions of Transhipment) Regulations, 1995 c) Handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulations , 2009 (as amended) d) Board's Circular No. 57/98-Cus dated 04/08/1998, Board's Circular No; 69/99- Cus dated 06.10.1999 as amended by Boards Circular No.61/2000-Cus dated 13.07.2000, Circ e) ular No; 79/2001-Cus dated 07.12.2001 and Circular No. 06/2007-Cus dated 27.01.2007 f) Any other Rules, Regulations, Notifications, Instructions, Circulars Public Notices issued from time to time. 5. Any difficulty arising in implementation of this Public Notice may be brought to the notice of the undersigned. 6. This issues with the approval of the Commissioner of Customs.
