Attention of all Exporters / Importers/ Custom Brokers/ Clearing Agents / Steamer Agents/ Shipping agents/ Trade and Industry and Public is invited to the Public Notice No. 31/2016 dated 08.08.2016 as amended issued by this Commissionerate regarding empanelment of Chartered Engineers for valuation of Second hand Machinery / goods etc. Consequent to revised Appendix-2G as notified in the hand book Procedure 2015-20 by DGFT, Para 11 and 12 (c) of said Public Notice stands amended as follows. Para 11. In Tuticorin, 1. M/S Valueguru chartered Engineers and Valuers P Ltd., 35D, First Floor, 2nd Street, Muniasamypuram, Sivanthakulam, Opp. To Kamaraj College Main Gate, Tuticorin - 628003 (Recognition Valid upto 30.05.2019) 2. M/S TSK Engmeers P Ltd., Ebanezer Mansion, 97-G/I-J, Palai Road west, Tuticorin - 628008. (Recognition Valid upto 07.04.2019) 3. National Marine Consultants Inc., Room No.6, 4 th Floor , 52/1, Mannady Street, Chennai-600001. (Recognition Valid upto 29.12.2019) are the agencies notified as per HBoP 2015-20 at the port of import viz., Tuticorin. The importers/ Customs Brokers may contact them for issue of Inspection / appraisement reports. Para 12 (c) In the event of the importer failing to procure an overseas report of Inspection / appraisement of the goods, he may have the goods inspected by 1. (Recognition Valid upto 29.12.2019) as notified by the DGFT under Appendix 2G of of the HB0P 2015-20 and Aayat Niryat Forms to FTP 2015-20 as amended from time to time ( Para 2.59 of HBoP 2015-20 refers).
