Attention of all Special / Public / Private Bonded Warehousing licensees and trading Public is invited to the Provisions of Warehouse (Custody and Handling of Goods) Regulations, 2016. The Board has also issued Circular No. 25/2016-Cus, dated 08.06.2016 and Circular No. 31/2016-cus, dated.06.07.2016 directing the Warehouse licensees for maintenance of records in relation to Warehoused goods in digital form. 2. It is noticed that some of the warehouse licensees are not complying with the provisions contained in Para 2(a) of Circular No. 25/2016-Customs, dated. 08.06.2016 i.e., filing with the bond officer a monthly return of the receipt, storage, operations and removal of the goods in the Warehouse, within Ten Days, after the closure of the month to which such return relates. Hence, all licensees are hereby directed to submit their monthly statements in the prescribed form within the stipulated time period, 3. It may be noted that in future all such deviation will be taken up for Adjudication proceedings under relevant provisions of Customs Act, 1962 and Rules and Regulations made thereon. (K.V.V.G.
