Kind attention of all the Importers/Exporters, Customs House Brokers, Airlines, Trade, and Stakeholders is invited to the CBEC Circular No. 40/2017 Customs dated October, 2017 vide which a facility to upload supporting documents electronically with digital signature i.e. eSANCHIT has been launched on pilot basis since 20th October, 2017 at Air Cargo Complex, Delhi and Chennai Customs Houses. It has now been decided to implement eSANCHIT application at AIR Cargo Complex, Sahar, Mumbai also. In this regard, it is stated that the said Board s Circular outlines the procedure for pilot implementation of paperless processing under Single Window Interface for Facilitation of Trade (SWIFT). 2. Accordingly, on a voluntary basis, all the supporting documents of all the appraising groups may be uploaded on ICEGATE. 3. In this regard, step by step procedure for uploading supporting document along with FAQs is available on CBEC website at http://www.cbec.gov.in/resources/htdocs- cbec/eSANCHITStepbyStepProcedure.pdf. 4. Shri. Prasath J, Assistant. Commissioner, EDI, has been appointed as Nodal officer for e-SANCHIT.
